Update from the Elders Regarding COVID-19

Dear Northside Family and Friends,

Going forward
As we look to the future, we can say with confidence that we will continue to maintain our current online worship format for at least the next few weeks. We are as eager as you are to get back together. We will be ready to do so once it is safe and in keeping with state and local recommendations. We are continuing to closely monitor the information coming from Mayor Hogsett and Governor Holcomb’s offices, as well as the CDC’s recommendations and guidelines.

Congregational Survey
We wanted to thank you for the tremendous response we’ve received from the congregation to the survey that we sent out. We are grateful you took the time to fill out the survey. It is very helpful to us as we consider what resuming our gatherings looks like. If you are part of our church family (member or regular attender) and you have not submitted your responses yet, please take 5 minutes and fill it out for us. Thank you!

Giving
As we have said before, we continue to praise God for your faithfulness as a church in your giving. Your generosity throughout this pandemic is a testament to your love for God and his church.

National Day of Prayer
As many of you are already aware, May 7th, 2020 is the National Day of Prayer. As elders, we encourage you to participate if you are able. The organizers will host a livestream event from 8-10 pm EST. You can find more information at this link.

We encourage you to continue to stay connected with each other. Call one another, text each other, pray with one another. Connect with each other on the Facebook group page. We pray that the Lord will continue to encourage you and strengthen your walk with him during these days.

In Christ,

Your Elders (Mike Bowman, John Reeder, Dennis Brooks, Jim Moran, and Nate Brock)
